Does Xbox One play cds? 10th June 2021

Amongst other multimedia skills the Xbox One console will play audio Cd’s.

The Xbox One is DLNA-compatible so can stream audio.

The Xbox one contains a slot loading mechanism to load and eject discs .

 

So if you don’t have a cd player but do have an Xbox One there is a good way to be able to play your old and newly purchased cds’s.

BBC Young Musician of the Year:26th May 2021

The BBC’s annual award for Young Musician of the Year was awarded to a 17 year old from China, Fang Zhang; most unusually his instrument being percussion, he plays marimba, snare drum timpani and vibraphone.

The delayed final for 2020 was in held in Manchester.

His performance “deeply moved ” the judges & is a great testament to the power of music to touch hearts.

Music Stars Raise Pressure over EU tours: 25th February 2021

As if Covid wasnt enough of a blow to our live music scene it seems that UK artists will be faced with red tape and fees for visa’s in order to tour and play in some EU countries.

Many musicians feel that the government have failed them and despite a very straightforward plan being put forward during negotiation stages, which would have allowed musiocians to travel without work permits,the EU rejected the proposal.
