At Duplication Centre we are sending out an increasing amount of sustainable card products which minimises the necessity for using a massive amount of plastic bubblewrap.
We do however still send lots of plastic and potentially breakable products and the reality is however much fragile tape you put on a parcel, they can sometimes get some rough treatment by the couriers!!!
Our priority is to get orders to customers in the perfect condition that they leave us, so good packing is important.
All this said we still try to reuse and recycle as much as we can :
*Boxes from incoming products are reused to double box giving amazing transit protection.
*Sourcing card boxes from other local businesses that would other wise be discarded.
*Reuse of mailite or bubble bags for outgoing samples and proofs.
It can be time consuming to recycle but we think it’s worth it .
Always trying to take responsibility for our own foot print.

Selling CD’s and DVD’s that you have recorded are a great way of raising money for charity and other good causes.
We are featuring a short piece about the West Midlands Air Ambulance after a customer told us about the life saving work these guys do day in day out.
Jon Tame rang us for a quotation to duplicate his Double CD. It was during this telephone conversation he told us the story of how his wife had been run down on a pedestrain crossing; the air ambulance had air lifted his wife to hospital in the “Golden Hour” after this near fatal car accident.
At Christmas she walked again unaided but had it not been for the work of the Air Ambulance the outcome of the accident would probably have been very different.
John has dedicated his Double Album “It’s All About The Bass” to the Wolverhampton Ambulance Crew’s & Paramedic’s, West Midland Air Ambulance, The West Midlands Police Force and the Staff at Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham.
All the proceeds from the sale of the album are being donated to the West Midlands Air Ambulance with heartfelt thanks.

We are often asked about selling CD’s and DVD’s online with companies like Amazon.
Many of our customers do this very successfully and use us to duplicate their CD’s /DVD’s and send their bulk orders direct to an Amazon Fulfilment Centre.
Selling on Amazon couldn’t be easier and there are a variety of selling plans available to choose from.
Depending on how much you think you will sell you can either have a monthly subscritption fee or a pay as you go (per item fee); you set this all up with Amazon when you register.
Once you have registered you just list your CD or DVD, and then use either an Amazon Fulfilment Centre to deliver to your customer or you fulfil the orders yourself.

Playing our small part and being responsible for our own footprint, is our starting point with environmental issues.
CD, DVD & BluRay has traditionally been a very plastic orientated industry, with the CD Jewell Case and the Standard Plastic DVD box being for many years, the norm for packing and presenting your discs.
Over the last few years, and in conjunction with current responsible thinking we have been keen to promote our Eco-Friendly casing options.
We have developed our own templates and sourced FSC certified Sustainable card stock to provide our customers with a high quality, low price, ecofriendly range for CD, DVD & BluRay packaging.

It’s easy to buy a Barcode from us, just email una@duplicationcentre.co.uk requesting a Barcode and she will send you a PayPal payment link for £25 plus vat.
You can then add the Barcode to the artwork you prepare for us when we run your CD, DVD or Blu Ray job for you.
If you are selling in shops and online you will need a barcode. Remember too that if you sell via Amazon you also will need to have us Cellowrap your job, as it’s an Amazon requirement.

The Barcode is the unique number that when scanned will identify your product. You need a barcode for each of the individual products you have. Remember that the pricing information related to the barcode is set by each individual retailer. The Barcode simply identifies the product itself.
